The State Opera House is also another place where all the aristocratic elegance of the being in Europe’s hot seat seems to be crystallized and condensed into each nights stunning performance. In the town center, Stephansdom, towering over Vienna’s famous Stephansplaatz, is one of the country’s most impressive cathedrals. Vienna gets a lot of deserved good press, but one of Austria’s most enchanting and undiscovered attractions is the glassy, expansive Wortersee in the country’s southern region of Corinthea, a mecca for water sports enthusiasts, clubbers and those who love cycling and hiking through the surrounding area, this lake is one of the top attractions in Austria, outside of Vienna. |
